Trump renames Canada's Lake Ontario 'Lake America,' then offers to rescue Canadian Jews from Canada.

You want to know how you take a country without firing a shot? You start with the water. Google swapped Lake Ontario over to 'Lake America' on its maps, following an executive order out of the White House that nobody up in Ottawa asked for and nobody down here voted on. That's not a joke, that's the actual caption now on the actual map millions of people use to find the actual lake. Half the guys at the end of this bar didn't even notice it happened, and that's the whole point of doing it on a map instead of on the news.
Then, same week, the administration says it's behind a Christian-backed plan to help Canadian Jews escape antisemitism. Not fund a synagogue up there. Not send a strongly worded letter to Ottawa. Escape. Like the plan is evacuation, not diplomacy. So in one breath the water up there gets an American name, and in the next breath the people up there get an American exit ramp, and both of those breaths come from the same guy.…

You rename the lake because you can, and you offer the rescue because it lets you say the neighbor's on fire while you're the one holding the gas can and the fire truck at the same time. It's a real estate pitch wearing a humanitarian coat, and the receipts are two headlines a week apart from two different outlets that never talked to each other and still landed on the exact same story.
Ask yourself who benefits from Canada looking like a place its own citizens need saving from, right when the President's already renaming its lakes on the world's most-used map. It's not the Canadian Jews. It's not the Canadians period. It's whoever gets to stand at a podium next year and point at a map that already says America on water that used to say Ontario. Watch what gets renamed next, because they've shown you the method, and the method is patient.
