DHS opens nationwide fraud dragnet over a crime its own accused calls non-existent in Texas.
“They don't need the fraud to be real, they need the investigation to exist — that's the budget line, that's the headline before the midterms. The person they're holding up as proof of fraud is out there telling anyone who'll listen there isn't any, and DHS keeps digging anyway. You want to know who pays for that digging? Same people who can't get a lawyer when their own ballot gets tossed.”
“Look, an investigation isn't an accusation, it's due diligence — you don't wait for proof to go looking for proof, that's how you keep confidence in elections. And sure, the person they're citing says there's no fraud, but he'd say that, wouldn't he — not that I'm suggesting — forget I said that. The dragnet stays; the denial's just something we'll factor in.”
