“You know what's not a coincidence? A cop union, a tabloid, and Trump's old lawyer all timing their outrage to land in the same eight days, right before a memorial everybody swears is above politics. It's not a movement, it's a phone tree, and the guy they're trying to keep off the stage is the one actually elected to run this city. Keep an eye on who gets to stand near the microphone on the day that's supposed to be sacred — that tells you who really thinks they still own it.”
