“They spent four days demanding Mamdani skip his own city's ceremony, then spent the anniversary itself accusing a university and a newspaper of politicizing it. The man who actually lost his father that day stood up and asked everyone to knock it off — not one side, everyone. That's the tell: the loudest voices about respecting 9/11 skipped the part where they show any.”
“Look, families raised real concerns about the mayor and they had every right to ask him to stay away — that's grief, not exploitation. And UCLA hosting a lawyer for a 9/11 plotter on the anniversary itself, that's tone-deaf at minimum, I'm not — okay, I am saying it's outrageous.
