That's not preservation, that's a countdown clock with a press office, and the only thing actually getting saved is a spot for his name where it wasn't before.”

A judge has directed the Trump administration to provide 30 days' notice of any changes in the Kennedy Center's renovation plans, including any planned demolition.

In court documents filed Wednesday by Rep. Joyce Beatty, a witness said he saw a "forklift run into and hit the pillars" of the building.
