Trump also said that the Brazilian election, in which President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva won a fourth term, "looked so corrupt, so terrible" while calling a two-hour voting extension "very strange."

THE LEDGER
Fraud tip reward goes from $30,000 to $1 million in six days; funding source unchanged at blank

As it ran on the front
The price on the twentieth of October was thirty thousand dollars. That is the Fraud Whistleblower Incentive Program, announced by the president and the vice president, who runs the fraud task force: a twenty-five-million-dollar fund paying tipsters up to thirty thousand apiece for information leading to a federal conviction. The Hill reports the award as a one percent commission, and does not say one percent of what. If the base is what the tip recovers — my arithmetic, not The Hill's — the thirty-thousand ceiling is reached at a three-million-dollar fraud, and a hundred-million-dollar fraud also pays thirty thousand. Caps do what caps do.
The office that sets the award and the office that approves the award, on that account, are the same chair.…
…(cont) On Monday the price was a million dollars. Anybody reporting voter fraud in past elections or in the 2026 midterms, the president wrote, will be paid $1,000,000, on conviction, eight days before the polls close on the third of November. Thirty thousand to a million is thirty-three times the earlier figure, six days later.
Out of which account, I could not tell you, and neither can the wires. France 24 reports no details of how the reward would be funded or administered. ABC reports it is not clear where the money would come from. The Washington Examiner reports that the administration will pay out. That is a payer, not an account. "The administration" is a building, not a line item, and the blank is the only entry in this program that has held still all week.
Set Monday's price against the other program's fund — and I mark that plainly, because nothing in Monday's announcement names the whistleblower fund, or any fund at all: twenty-five million dollars, at a million dollars a conviction, buys twenty-five convictions, nationwide, in total.
What comes before the third is the offer. France 24 notes the offer follows the president's repeated false claims that he won the 2020 election. The New York Post notes he also said the Brazilian election, which Lula won for a fourth term, "looked so corrupt, so terrible," and called a two-hour voting extension "very strange."
So the ledger reads: a figure, an arbitrator, and no account. Tips cost nothing to take in. Eight days, hon.
“A million bucks a head and nobody can name the checking account — that's not a reward program, that's an advertisement, and the thing it's advertising is that your neighbor's ballot is worth money to somebody. Six days earlier the going rate was thirty grand, and the same week the man says he'll be the one deciding who gets paid. The payouts land after the trials, the trials land after November third, and the suspicion lands Tuesday — which is the only part of this they actually needed delivered on time.”
“Look, a reward for convictions is a reward for convictions — you have to be convicted, that's a court, that's due process, so what's the complaint. The funding? It's the administration, they said the administration, you want a routing number on a Monday? Did I say routing number? That doesn't sound like me — the point is nobody's been paid anything yet, which, if you think about it, is the strongest fiscal discipline there is.”

The receipts
President Donald Trump said Monday that the administration will pay out $1 million to tipsters who report cases of voter fraud that result in convictions, just one week before the polls close in the 2026 midterm elections. “Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000…
It is not clear where the money for this reward would come from.

The president gave no details of how the reward would be funded or administered. The comments follow his repeated false claims that he won the 2020 presidential…
