Democrat: the needle points at INVESTIGATION, out of SIDE-EYE, LETTERS, FILINGS, INVESTIGATION, INDEPENDENCE. SIDE-EYE LETTERS FILINGS INVESTIGATION INDEPENDENCE

The strangest check of the season held at the least likely desk: Jeanine Pirro dismissed the cases and did not blink when the White House raged, and the attorney general's own nominee backed her in public 1. What the left is building around that is the scaffolding that makes the next refusal cheaper. House Democrats announced an investigation into the pressure campaign 2; Oversight Democrats had already put the no-bid contractor on written notice in June, before the paint finished peeling 3; the canoeist's lawyers put the "false version" on the record where it cannot be unsaid 4; and the paper of the town he is renovating established the plain reading — a test of his power, and it backfired 5. The needle stops at INVESTIGATION rather than INDEPENDENCE because independence held once, at one desk, with the room watching. An announced investigation is what exists so far. What it finds gets its own verdict, and so does the next desk.

“Two million to paint a pool, and it's fourteen million and still green. The only thing on this project that came in finished and on time was the algae.”

“It's not fourteen million dollars, it's a fourteen-million-dollar investment in reflection. The algae is seasonal, comes with the territory. Ask any contractor I've spoken to, which is none, on advice of counsel.”
